團契簡介 About CCF

Chinese Christian Fellowship 簡稱 CCF 的中文名稱是「石溪大學團契」，我們亦趣稱它為「西西雅福學生團契」。我們分屬於 Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM), 建立於八十年代初期。CCF 聚集校內許多的華人學生，幫助他們認識及了解基督教、聖經及基督徒的生活。我們的社團主要成員大部份來自香港、中國大陸及台灣。

CCF 不隻是一般的校內組織，它不僅給了大家一個認識新朋友的機會，更讓大家的心靈變得充實！我們非常歡迎新的朋友來參與我們的聚會！每一個星期五晚上我們將會有團契活動：除了詩歌分享及茶點外，每一次 CCF 亦會邀請不同的資深講員來提供講座，內容大多環繞基督徒信仰上及生活上的信息。

CCF 亦有小組聚會，分為國語及廣東兩個小組，在每一個星期三的晚上舉行。可以給大家更多的機會互相分享及關懷各人的屬靈生活。可按自己意願選擇適合的小組來參加。小組是以詩歌、遊戲、查經及個人分享讓大家對聖經，自己，即彼此有更深的認識。

Chinese Christian Fellowship in short CCF is affiliated with the Baptist Campus Ministry.

Established during the early 80's on the Stony Brook University campus, CCF gathers many Chinese students on campus, helps them know and understand Christianity, the Holy Bible and the Christian life. Our members are primarily undergraduates from Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan.

CCF is not just a club while all meetings are open to everyone including You! Our Friday Fellowship Meeting meets every Friday night, besides of having songs and snacks, with the help of guest speakers, we focuses on different topics concerning Christian faith and lifestyle. We also have several Small Group Meetings, consisting of Mandarin groups and Cantonese groups, which provide care and sharing for each member in his or her daily and spiritual life. You can choose the small group that suits you best. We have songs, games, Bible studies, sharing, and gathering during our small group meetings.

The vision of the Chinese Christian Fellowship at Stony Brook University is to build a community where college students can discover their identities in Christ, develop as Christian leaders, and transform the world.

使命 Mission

The Chinese Christian Fellowship/ Baptist Campus Ministry’s (BCM) mission is to provide a Christian witness on the Stony Brook University campus through quality worship, education, service, fellowship and programming. CCF/BCM offers and supports Christianity, educational, and cultural activities that call students, faculties, and staffs to seek the manifest love of Christ, that challenge them to a deeper level of spiritual growth, wholeness and wellness and encourage them to enrich their lives.

Worship is the center of Christians’ faith-lives and the center of CCF/BCM. CCF provides weekly worship opportunities for students and members of the Stony Brook community. Periodically, CCF provides leadership for worship in local church and the greater New York community.

Education is the focus of Stony Brook University and CCF/BCM. Through Bible Study and relevant faith based discussion, CCF empowers members of the campus community to challenge their faith, expand their minds, and increase their senses of self-worth and ethical understandings. These are necessary for us to survive and flourish in a rapidly changing and culturally diverse society.

Fellowship opportunities are both provided and encouraged. The power of just being together is not overlooked by CCF/BCM. Through various worships, education, and service functions, members are empowered in their senses of community. They are also encouraged to share their lives and faiths with others and upheld in times of joy or crisis.

Service is the nature of a true Christian living and CCF/BCM provides both services to the students through pastoral care and counseling, and promotes services by the students through outreach. Therefore, it creates opportunities for the Stony Brook community to actively embody in the love of Christ in the world.
